The Marlins are the inaugural professional sports team to implement CHEQ’s innovative technology, which allows fans to order food ahead from their phones and spend more time in their seats enjoying the game.

Fans use CHEQ’s new mobile technology to order ahead at concession stands and/or deliver to their seats (starting in 2022), allowing guests to get back into the swing of the baseball season in a safe and enjoyable manner, all from their personal mobile device.

What CHEQ Provided

Quick Last-minute innovations

Marlins’ fan-facing orders are displayed on a big screen. While this was not needed for existing CHEQ partners, CHEQ built this functionality specifically for the Marlins’ unique needs and developed an equivalent system for the Marlins.

Rapid Integrations

CHEQ provided a solution that allowed the Marlins to start operating prior to integration with their existing POS system. CHEQ integrated seamlessly and without friction within the existing POS provider and will also be integrated within the MLB Ballpark App experience for the 2022 season. CHEQ can also be used as a standalone POS.

Results

Significant increase in F&B sales (per each ticket) and efficiencies inside the ballpark. Shorter (or no!) lines and less labor needed at each concession.

Seamless transition from previous mobile ordering to CHEQ for both vendors and Marlins fans.
